At Scott Smith Orthodontics we know what it means to be a teenager!

We understand that many teenagers don’t want to be seen wearing traditional braces and that is why we offer Invisalign® Teen to suitable patients!

The Invisalign® Teen system straightens teenager’s teeth with custom-made clear aligners which can be removed for eating and brushing your teeth. The aligners are designed to move your teeth in very small increments to the desired final position as determined by Dr Smith.

Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan. Each aligner is worn for approximately 2 weeks.

As a revolutionary alternative to traditional braces, Invisalign® Teen is ideal because:

• Invisalign® Teen aligners are almost invisible! Most people wont know you are in treatment unless you tell them
• Invisalign® Teen is designed to custom-fit a teenager’s mouth perfectly, so you can carry on with the same lifestyle, keep smiling, play sports and eat what you want.
• The aligners are removable, so you can take them out for meals and special events!
• Removing the aligners ensures teeth can be easily brushed and flossed, promoting healthy teeth and preventing gum disease
• Once you have had your Invisalign® teen impressions taken and digitally modeled, Dr Smith can show you your own virtual treatment 3D plan on a computer screen enabling you to see how your teeth may look on completion

Teenagers please note: If you want straight teeth you need to be committed! You must wear your aligners 22 hours every day! You can eat, sleep and play with them in!!

Here at Scott Smith Orthodontics we want to make orthodontics as affordable as possible for everyone. We offer various payment methods and payment plans which will be discussed with your Mum or Dad or guardian at your initial consultation.

At this consultation, Abi will discuss the invisalign treatment process, show you examples of the clear aligners and show you before and after photographs of patients that have been treated with the Invisalign® system.

Please note the free initial Invisalign® consultation appointments are for people who wish to find out more about Invisalign® and are with Abi only. If you are a suitable candidate for Invisalign® and wish to proceed into treatment, an appointment will then be made for you see Dr Smith, for a full orthodontic assessment.
